Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], March 4 (ANI): A “Janjati Devlok Mahotsav” was organized in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at his residence in Bhopal on Tuesday.
CM Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting lamps and worshipping the tribal deities. Additionally, he welcomed the tribal representatives and people gathered here from across the state by showering flowers.
“Ahead of Holi festival, today we organised a good event at CM house with tribal communities from various regions of the state. I have said that the state government will stand with the tribals in their festivals. The Bhagoria festival is going to be held soon, so both our ministers of Tribal Affairs Department and Scheduled Caste Welfare will participate in the Bhagoria festival with society on behalf of the government,” CM Yadav told reporters after the program.
“Similarly, the other festivals are also part of our arrangement. We celebrate Holi and Diwali with joy, so this festival should also be celebrated with joy,” CM added.
When asked about extending funds to organise the festival with government participation, the CM said, “Why not, we will contribute as much as possible.”
The Chief Minister further emphasised that the program was not made based on elections but was held in the spirit of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas.
“We did not make the program on the basis of elections. The entire society has formed our government with love, so their participation is also included in the government. On the basis of that participation, I have said that this is their home as well and may the love between us remain for life. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we all should together make Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas meaningful for the welfare of everyone and on the basis of it, the event was organised. I extend my greetings on this occasion,” he added. (ANI)
