Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], August 29 (ANI): Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma. Subramanian distributed appointment letters to newly-appointed Food Safety Officers in Chennai on Thursday.
Subramanian said, “There are 192 vacancies for Food Safety Officers, while 235 Food Safety Officers are already working”.
Speaking to ANI, the health minister said, “Today, we distributed appointment letters to 127 officers. They all were recruited through the Medical Recruitment Board and qualified officers”, the Tamil Nadu health minister said.
“The CM has gone to the US America to get investments into Tamil Nadu. The CM said that he will present a white paper statement on how much investments were received during the US tour,” he added.
Earlier today, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin visited the United States to secure support and investments aimed at boosting the prosperity of the state.
During his visit, Stalin aims to attract investments from the various leading US-based companies to benefit the state.
In a post on X, he said, “In the USA–the land of opportunities, seeking support for the prosperity of Tamil Nadu.”
On Tuesday, Stalin addressed the media before his departure at Chennai Airport.
The official DMK handle posted a video with the caption, “Hon’ble Chief Minister M K Stalin met and interviewed the media at the Chennai airport before his official visit to the United States.”
Earlier, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, State Minister for Information Technology and Industries, Sridhar Babu Duddilla, and their team members visited Apple headquarters in California on August 9.
During their visit, Telangana CM met with senior executives in the manufacturing, public policy, and healthcare divisions of Apple. (ANI)
