Agartala (Tripura) [India], June 30 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that no other leader organizes programs like “Mann ki Baat”.
“The Mann ki Baat of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a significant discussion. No other leader holds or organizes such a type of Mann ki Baat program,” Saha said.
He also commended the radio show program for its unique approach to sharing information and inspiring citizens.
“We cannot be aware of the whole of India, but PM Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat, always highlights unique things that we are not aware of, and from that, we gain a lot of knowledge,” he added.
Saha spoke after watching PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at 14 Badharghat Mandal.
During the program, BJP state President Rajib Bhattacharya, and MLA Mina Rani Sarkar were present.
He also said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Tripura for their support in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where the BJP won both seats.
Saha shared that he had recently met with the Prime Minister and congratulated him on behalf of the people of Tripura. Modi, in return, thanked Saha for the state’s significant electoral success and praised the efforts that led to the BJP’s victory in both the Lok Sabha seats and the by-elections.
“We were waiting for the results, and what happened? PM Modi came again. A few days back, I met him and congratulated him on behalf of the people of Tripura. He, in turn, thanked me and said, ‘You did well in Tripura as BJP won both the seats with massive votes and in the by-elections too.’ PM Modi has congratulated all the people of Tripura,” said the Chief Minister.
Earlier in the day, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha along with the local community listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 111th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the programme known for its outreach and connection with the people of India.
In an inspiring gathering, residents of Badharghat Legislative Assembly Booth No. 33 came together to listen to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aired on Sunday.
This episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ highlighted several initiatives and success stories that resonated deeply with the listeners.
From the lush coffee plantations of Araku in Andhra Pradesh to the exquisite Karthumbi Chhata from Kerala and the pristine Snow Peas from Kashmir, the Prime Minister’s words celebrated the journey of these local products as they gained international recognition.
In his 111th episode of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the global presence of local Indian products, and mentioned Araku coffee produced in Andhra Pradesh.”There are so many products from India that are in great demand across the world and when we see a local product from India going global, it is natural to feel proud. One such product is Araku coffee. Araku coffee is grown in large quantities in Alluri Sita Rama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. It is known for its rich flavour and aroma,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while addressing the 111th episode of Mann Ki Baat.
Additionally, the programme paid homage to the Santal hero Sindhu-Kanu, a significant figure in Indian history, and emphasised the importance of the Sanskrit language’s resurgence.
The ‘One Tree, Ma’ Ke Naam’ campaign, a tribute to mothers and the environment, was also a focal point, encouraging people to plant trees in honour of their mothers.
The local event at Booth No. 33 was organised to foster community spirit and collective listening, further enhancing the impact of the Prime Minister’s message. The residents expressed their admiration for the programme’s ability to bring diverse stories and initiatives from across the nation into their homes.
“We feel connected to the entire nation through ‘Mann Ki Baat’. It’s inspiring to hear about the achievements and efforts of people from different parts of India,” said a resident.
CM Manik Saha urged the common people to listen to the special programme of PM Modi and accept the suggestions and ideas that he shared. (ANI)
