Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 30 (ANI): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a ‘Janta Darshan’ at his official residence today, where he heard hundreds of complaints presented by the grievances.
The highest number of complaints originated from Shahjahanpur, which were primarily concerned with land encroachment and delays in land measurement, which upset the Chief Minister.
Yogi heard and reached out to the complainants one by one and gave them a patient hearing. The petitioners also complained about the negligence of the Lekhpals and Kanungo.
In response, the CM immediately directed the District Magistrate to take action and report back within three days.
Similar cases were reported from Agra and Kanpur. All the petitioners were assured that prompt action would be taken and there is no need to worry.
A woman approached the CM regarding the issues in her treatment due to lack of funds. Despite having an Ayushman card, she required more money for her treatment. Yogi assured her that her treatment would not be hindered due to financial constraints. The KGMU Vice Chancellor was given information regarding the case and was instructed to take appropriate action.
Additionally, an assistant teacher from Unnao explained in her grievance that her child was very ill and was undergoing treatment in Lucknow but her husband was away. Upon requesting a transfer to Lucknow, Yogi assured her that appropriate action would be taken.
All concerned officials were sent directions by the CM to address the grievances of the complainants at the district level on a priority basis. He further emphasised that negligence in any form would not be tolerated.
In regards to the land encroachment cases, Yogi stated that it must be ensured that the victims are heard. Further, he added that lawbreakers would not be tolerated in any case. (ANI)
